World Arabic Translation Rights for The Woman in the Attic acquired by The Mahrousa Centre for Publishing

Flanker Press is very happy to announce that world Arabic translation rights for The Woman in the Attic by Emily Hepditch have been acquired by The Mahrousa Center For Publishing, based in Cairo, Egypt.

Emily Hepditch’s thrilling debut novel has consistently appeared in the top 5 bestsellers list in Newfoundland and Labrador since its release in April 2020. That’s 18 months in a row!

Other recognition includes:

- Winner of the Rakuten Kobo 2021 Emerging Writer Prize - Mystery

- Gold Medal winner for the Independent Publisher Award in Canada East

- Regional Fiction - Winner of the NL Reads 2021 competition (and winner of the Margaret Duley Award for Fiction)

- Finalist for the Crime Writers of Canada Awards - First Crime Novel - Long-listed for the BMO Winterset Award
